White Christmas theme

Hi all, so the TGIF Challenge has a great theme this well. Which is 'white Christmas' here is the theme: So I thought I would show you something I created a while back but just havent got round to sharing & thought this was the perfect time. Here is what I created:  Here is a little close up too:  I've gone for slightly different colours than the usual Christmas, I do like to show & share different ways. I hope you like my take on this Christmas theme .  Thanks for popping by & see you soon,  X Jessie B X  Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Festival of Trees Sketch

Hey there, so I'm in with another Christmas card before I go to Brussels for Stampin' Up!'s on stage event. I came across a fab sketch at Fab Friday  & I couldn't wait to get creative with it. Here is the sketch: Such a lovely sketch, don't you think? So this is what I did: Here is a close up of the trees: I love this colour combination, which is Marina Mist with Elegant Eggplant tinsel & Pool Party with Real Red baubles. Against the Delightful Dijion & Blackberry Bliss I love it!! Thanks for popping by & happy stamping, x Jessie B x Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Festival of Trees

Hi all, so I've got a Christmas card to share with you. I found a great colour combination over at  Global Design Project  which I thought would work great for a non traditional colour theme. This is the colour combination: These are super colours that I just couldn't wait to get inked, so here is what I came up with: I love how the embossing folder just adds a little texture without taking away from the lovely Christmas trees. To create the little border around the decorative label punch I just punched another whole one out in colour & cut it in half, I also punched a two of the sides of the card - I didn't bother punching another whole one out. I then just glued & layered with an equal border - don't you just love what simple things you can do with a  punch :)! Thanks for stopping by & happy stamping. x Jessie B x

Orange tone Butterfly

Hey all,  so I thought I would share with you what I created with the great colour combination over at Hand Stamped Sentiments , here is the colours:  I pulled out the Watercolour Wings stamp set so I could show off these great colours due to the 3 step stamping that occurs when creating the butterfly. I wanted the butterfly to stand out which is why it is the focal point of this clean & simple card. Here is what I created:  In addition I added some rhinestones, linen thread & a banner with a birthday sentiment from Build a Birthday. See you soon, x Jessie B x Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Autumnal

Hey there, So I have definitely been in an autmunal mood with my crafting recently. I will try & post some more of what I've created in due course.  It has indeed become more autumn here in England, with the crisp mornings & warm afternoons. We have a bit of last minute summer going on over this weekend too. Right back to what I have created. I saw this fab challenge on Jen Mitchell's blog such a fab page for inspiration. The theme was leaves over at Addicted to CAS  and here is what I made: I love how the leaves pop against the green background, I inked the woodlands embossing folder before putting it through the big shot.  Thanks for popping by, X Jessie B X  Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

All ye Faithful

Hi all, So the autumn/winter catty came out at the beginning of September & all though I got the chance to pre order in August I have only just managed to ink this lovely stamp set. I really like the All Ye Faithful stamp set as it really shows the true meaning of Chrismas to me. So I saw this great sketch over at   TGIF Challenges : Here is what I created: Thanks for popping by & see you hear again soon,  X Jessie B X Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Garden in Bloom

Hi there, Its a glorious morning here in Bristol & have just been taking pictures of the balloons that are flying towards my home, here is one:  Anyway, back to some crafting inspiration - I came across this challenge site Stamp Ink Paper  when the first challenge came out due to seeing it on Justin Krieger's blog . But this is the first time that I have actually got round to taking part!!  So this is the challenge:  I've been using the great stamp set Garden in Bloom from the Su! Annual catty and just cant seem to get enough of it! I went to another training evening last night which was really nice! So my swap is what I'm going to share with you:  Here is a couple of close ups:  Hope you are inspired to create & take part is this challenge. Jessie x B x Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Bloom Sketch

So I haven't blogged in a while, life seems to get in the way sometime. June was a busy month for me went to a couple of concert, one in my home town Bristol to see the Kasier Cheifs & the other was in Edinburgh to see the Piano Guys it was well worth going there. Anyway, I'm taking part in this weeks challenge over at TGIF Challenges  who have this fantastic sketch: So I haven't really had time to play with some of the new stamps I purchased when the new catty came out so I thought it was time I inked them. This is what I created: Here is a close up with the layers: I have made another 14 of them for a training event I'm attending to inspire others as well as you!  Thanks for popping by X Jessie B X Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

TGIF Remix Challenge

So this week's challenge over at  TGIF Challenges  was the monthly remix, which was combine 2 of the previous weeks sketches/challenges into one! So what I did was combined the two challenges I originally took part in you can see them here  #1  &  #2 . I love the pic for the remix challenge it definitely put a smile on my face:  So hopefully you saw the challenges I took part in. So I combined challenge week 1 which was the colour one & week 2 the sketch challenge. I decide to make a birthday card which I really need to make more of as I seem to have more male ones...rather then feminine/children ones! So this is what I came up with:  Here is a close up of that lovely cake:  And then another angle to show some of the layering:  I really wanted the cake to be the focal point which is why I went with a very clean & simple look. I hope you like it & see you soon for my crafting inspiration.  Thanks for popping by,  x Jessi

Telford UK Regional

So over the weekend loads of UK demonstators got together! We crafted, shared & were also inspired! At these events we take part in swapping - this means you make some card fronts or other inspiration & pass it on, in return you receive something too :) I used some products that are retiring: regarding dahlias still maybe able to grab this stamp set & the 13 - 15 in colours which are no longer available 😒 Here is the swap I created: Here is more of them together, i created 60 altogether: I made these in about 12 hours when i took part in a 24 hour craft-a-thon the other weekend. It was really therapeutic. I was colourling them in like so: So you can probably see why it took so long. We have raised over £1,800 for cancer research uk! Thank you if you supported & thanks for popping by, I will be back again in a couple of days time. X Jessie B X

New Home

Well I thought I would take part in the  TGIF Challenges  they had a really simple sketch & I thought it was ideal for a colleague who has recently moved. Here is the sketch:  so this is what I came up with: My colleague has become a homeowner so I thought to add first really fitted.  I used a recent SAB stamp that had houses on & co-ordinated nicely with the What's Up punch. I raised one of them up to make a focal point & used a nice bright yellow dap from the Birthday Bash & to add some texture I embossed a piece of Old Olive. I got some of my work colleagues to sign it & had a quite a few comments saying they liked the card.  Thanks for stopping by to see what I have created. You Can Create It & Paper Players

So I was running a but late in crating my You Can Create It challenge for this month, I saw this weeks Paper Players challenge & wanted to combine the two. I only got chance to look at this this evening. The You Can Create It challenge logo UK representatives are  Teri Polcock  &  Monica Gale : So here is the paper players sketch: This is what I created:   Hope you like it. It took me a while to figure out what colours to incorpoate with the card base, something borrowed dsp, the hearts & the gem. I got the colour coach to get some inspiration for colours to use - was a big challenge!! A close up of the painted petals stamp set - will find out later today whether this is carrying over to the new Catalogue. As being a demo get a sneak peak, some of the perks of being a demo 😀 And one last one: Hopefully my fellow stamping' up team mate Claire has also taken part in this challenge too. Thanks for stopping by,

Can you Create

Hi There! Well I've hopefully scheduled this correctly. I'm taking part in the great monthly challenge called 'You can Create' hosted by Monica Gale & Teri Pocock here is there great logo: So what came in the post was some card stock & a piece of acetate!! This really got me thinking, I don't use acetate much so really wanted to incoporate it :) So I decided to make a lovely shaker card with a great stamp set that I recently purchased from the Spring/Summer catty. Here it is: I really like how this turned out, simple but effective with those great sequins. Here is a close up:   Here is just the shaker element with the balloons & sentiment: Thanks for stopping by to see what I created. x Jessie B x Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Silhouette Mother's Day

So last Sunday was Mother's Day here in the UK, i had to make a couple & one of them used the Hand Stamped Sentiments  colour challenge: So this is what I came up with: I just made it very simple woth the summer silhouette's stamp set. Here is a close up of the card:  Thanks for stopping by X Jessie B X  Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Bokeh Silhouettes

Recently, I was round my fellow team mate in the Stampin' Up! community house & we were discussing about blogging. But, we didn't get very far that evening deciding what to do. So we then communicated via email & I put a few challenges that I came across recently, I even put the dates theses challenges would close - which she was very grateful for. When getting back to me Claire mentioned a couple that she liked the look of - so for the next 2 weeks there will hopefully be the challenges we are taking part in. So 1 here & 1 at Claire's . So here goes with the first challenge we are taking part in over at Paper Craft Crew : I decided to combine it with the colour challenge over at Fab Friday :  I have to say I found this very hard to do, trying to use 3 colours is a bit a challenge for me, I tend to mix a lot of colours together. So this is the card I created:  I decided to use the bokeh technique to create my background - this is
